The Basketball Stats app is the best app for recording single or multiple player game stats. Get real-time updates of game, player, and team statistics as well as percentages of plays like free throws while you record your games.
Enter the following : 2 Pt Field Goals Made, 2 Pt FG Attempted, 3 Pointers, 3 Pt Attempts, Free Throws Made, Free Throw Attempted, Offensive Rebounds, Defensive Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Turnovers, and Fouls.
Auto-calculated within the app: Total Points, 2 Point Percentage, 3 Point Percentage, Free Throw Percentage, and Total Rebounds.
All of the above information is stored in the Apps Database for later recall. Additionally the players name, game name, and individual game notes may be stored, retrieved, and sent via email.
Additionally you can Sort by Player Name, Game Name, Date, and Game Status (Win/Loss/Tie/In Progress/etc).

Tried to use this app a couple of times but its very inefficient and poorly designed. Would be decent if your were only needing to enter info for one person all the game, but for the entire team it would be impossible and very time consuming. There is no easy way to flow between the players. There is no way to edit a player name after its entered in the "player" section, unless you want to delete it and start over. Lame. Wishing I had my $1.99 back!
Cant figure out how to use this app How do I do individual games for a team? There are easier apps
Very simple to use. Keeps all the major stats (except Turnovers, for now). Has a note section and is easily emailed. Great for the parent looking to keep their son or daughters statistics. Highly recommend.
I use this for my 2 HIgh school age kids games. Super easy to use and very helpful to do post game reviews with kids on what they did well and what to improve on. I use the notes to write suggestions of what to work on during the game. Kids appreciate this versus getting "feedback" on the car ride home from their two parents (who also were the coaches for 6 years). Two suggested enhancements: 1. Add turnovers as a category 2. Create ability to look at YTD stats by game and averages (right now I post game output to an excel worksheet to get this view)
Simple application to use and tracks all basic functions. It would be five stars if it provided season summaries and some basic charts and graphs. I would definitely recommend. Gary
